Today, Alyssa and I went on a date and saw the Kit Kittridge movie. Very cute - we had a good time. Of course we had to get popcorn and you can say I ate my share (20 minutes into the movie we had to get a refill! :-)
The one thing I didn't appreciate was spending $3.65 for a bottle of water. A bottle of water which at my house costs less than 50 cents and would be colder. Ugh! That was hard to do but what choice did we have?
I am a rule follower. If there's a rule, I feel it's my duty to follow it. Well, I have found a rule I will not follow in the future. Like I told my husband, if they only charged a little more than normal, like $2 I would probably still buy it but $3.65?? I will NOT buy that again! (of course, this is the first movie I've seen in well over 6 months so the movie theatres are probably not too scared of my proclamation).

Yikes, water $3.65.That does seem outrageuos. Korbyn and I want to go see that movie, we saw a preview for it. I do think the movie theaters rip us off because those prices are rediculous and they only charge that amount because they know that we have to pay it if we would like anything while we enjoy the movie. I had not been to many movies in the past few years but now Josh and I will go some, probably once a month or so. It is prbably almost a $40 affair just for the two of us, popcorn, and pop. That to me is a little silly. But I guess we keep paying it. Like you said I'm sure they are scared of us. :) I have not gotten into blogging but am interested in getting on and staying in touch with you guys. I have a myspace account where I stay in contact with lots of people I went to school with, Erica, Jessica since they are not in the area. I do not talk to Sarah as much on their because we talk on the phone and text message. ~Breanna
So what rule will you not follow? Buying the water at all or bringing your own hidden? (Gasp!) :-)
Bringing my own hidden! I've done it before, I must admit, but not recently but from now on for sure!!! Gotta find a bigger purse! :-)
